Theory Study
The purpose of the Theory Test is to evaluate students’ musical knowledge of and the ability to apply theory, aural, and musicianship concepts. KMTA hosts the TMTA State Music Theory Test twice a year, in the Fall and Spring. Students prepare for tests and aim to earn Gold, Silver or Bronze medals for grade-level test scores 90 or above.
Wright Music Academy is proud to provide Theory Test Preparation Workshop in this coming October! During the one-day workshop, students will:

- Evaluate their baseline knowledge in Theory
- Examinate their aural skills
- Review frequently missed concepts
- Gear up for the Ear-Training section of tests
- Polish their over-all test-taking skills
- Take two mock tests in a formal setting with peers
